RTF Climate LTD can supply, install and maintain disinfection units. The 3 systems that we support are the heating, LP/UV and the HP/UV systems.

Heating is an easy to control method of disinfection. The system heats the up the solution to 95 degrees for about 30 seconds to effectively disinfect the solution. Capacities can range from 2.5 to 15m³/h. An example of this type of unit can be seen on the bottom left.

The LP/UV unit: The low intensity ultraviolet radiation treats the solution as it passes through a treatment chamber containing the UV lamp. Exposure of 100 to 300mJ/cm² is required to control bacteria and viruses, respectively.

The LP/UV is an affordable Disinfection System for Medium and Small Operations. Water capacity depends upon the desired UV-C dose, the transmittance level T10 of the water and the number of UV-C lamps applied. Capacity levels can therefore vary from approx. 1  to over 5.5 m³/h. An example can be seen at the bottom centre

The HP/UV unit: The big difference between this unit and the LP/UV as described above is the capacity and the ability to control the intensity of the radiation. This system can be fully integrated into the Intégro.

PRIVA Vialux HP/UV systems are an effective means of disinfecting drain water. The HP/UV principle is suitable for selective or total disinfection of large quantities of water ranging from 1.5 up to 45 m³/h. Water re-circulation and disinfection is the best way of conserving precious water and fertilizers. An example can be seen at the bottom right of this page.
